Oh y’know - Mitchy there eh - gets pucks in deep - gud pro an d’all that - ready for camp - we’re gettin’ ready to go - Matty and Freddy got screeched in - and we’re gonna work hard - stick to our plan - and prepare for each and every game - and hope we get some results.

Four players earning a total of 40M. Each of them forwards. Is it possible to win the Cup with ten players making under 800,000? No first round picks the next two seasons. Three of the top four d-men on expiring contracts. Is it accurate to say this season is crucial for Kyle Dubas's employment with the Leafs?

Mitch is a realgudpro. Good man. Plays the game the right way. Doesn't play heavy but he keeps comin' at ya. Puts his foot on the gas and plays a full 60. Let's go win a hockey game.

There are teams with older, less productive players making that with 6-7 players. Is that better?

Overpaying bottom 6 players is stupid.

Leafs litterally have 0 bad contracts they can't trade. They are in good shape.

Let guys like Lou pay 10 million to his 4th line. That's cao hell, not paying young superstars

What's funny now is the big news today is how Leafs are in big trouble next summer! Cap hell!

Where have I heard this before? LOL. Rinse, repeat.

Wasn't Mitch getting offersheets, Nylander traded, and Marleau and Zaitsev could not be moved?

Same damn argument every year.

No first round picks the next two seasons.

They only traded one of the next two 1st rounders away, not both.

Dubas likely has the safest job there, if the Leafs don't advance past the second round, or stutter to win home ice... Babcock is on the hot seat.

Sorry. That is correct. If Leafs finish picking in the top ten (unlikely) the Marleau pick goes to 2021. Regardless, the pipeline is not overflowing unless extreme optimism kicks in. Tavares, Mathews, and Marner aren't going anywhere. I think Nylander should keep his luggage packed

They have a fantastic core locked up and can be contenders for years. They will be trading more 1sts. That's no longer a priority.

You’re all lucky to be done with this. We need to pay the best American born D-man in history.

I think you will need those picks for players to fill out your roster on the cheap.

Yup. Last year sucked for Dubas. He didn’t want to do that again.

Happy to watch preseason games knowing we don’t have a hold out.

You'd think the D-omies would have fallen after the Werenski signing.
